Hoop, Hoop, Hooray! Digital Machine Embroidery Skill Builder Workshop

Are you new to machine embroidery? Are you wondering about the whys & wherefores? Are you frustrated by your lack of troubleshooting skills?

Then this workshop is for you! Join me and our fellow intrepid machine embroiderers as we spend a few hours delving into the how, when, why & where of DME basics. We’ll investigate and master the mysteries of bobbins, thread, stabilisers, substrates, hooping, tools, designs and troubleshooting - then together we’ll each stitch out a mystery item to take home.

This hands-on workshop runs from 10.00am until approximately 2.30pm. We’ll break for lunch for half an hour or so.

Where: narrow dog Workroom, 5a Tyne Street, Mosgiel

Cost: $95.00 per person, this includes all materials.

Bring: Your embroidery machine and hoops, an empty bobbin, basic sewing kit including any special embroidery tools you use (e.g. double curved scissors) and something for lunch.
