Textile Art Igniter

This is a two part class run on consecutive Saturday mornings.

In Part 1 you’ll explore mark-making on fabric using a variety of tools, textile paint and a resist technique. You will produce a uniquely patterned piece of fabric for use in class 2.

In Part 2 you’ll select and explore an approach to stitch your fabric, and make a start on the stitching process. You’ll have the opportunity to consult the Workroom library for inspiration, and to discuss your work with the other class participants. You will be guided through decision-making and problem solving.
